Unit 6 Essay Questions

Unit 6-Gilded Age Free Response Essay Topics 2011




Directions: You will be given two of the following four essay prompts on the Unit 6 exam. On the AP Exam in may you will be advised to spend 5 minutes planning and 30 minutes writing your answer. By receiving the prompts now, there should be no guess work. I expect planning to be done in the days leading up to the exam. Cite relevant historical evidence in support of your generalizations and present your arguments clearly and logically.



1. Analyze the ways in which farmers and industrial workers responded to industrialization in the Gilded Age (1865-1900).
